The event in Cyprus took place as part of the celebrations for the World Refugee Day 2023– prior to the event invitations were sent to various organizations from Emphasys’ network and associated partners. An open invitation was also shared on Emphasys social media. During the event participants had the opportunity to get informed about the IWELCOME project objectives and results, to register on the platform in order to get free access to the materials developed and to share experiences and good practices in promoting the integration of TCN women into the society. Additionally, interactive activities were organized such as the Tree of Hope, where the participants had to write in one word ‘What inclusion means for them’. The event received positive commentsfrom the participants and provided a great opportunity to extend the impact of the project and to raise awareness about the migrant’s rights and a more inclusive society.
